I dabbled with yoga during my time as a dance major in college, but it was really after I graduated that I developed a steady practice. Each style of yoga that I tried created a new set of challenges that I enjoyed. Through yoga, I have learned that the things that challenge us the most are usually the things that we need the most. These personal challenges are what help us to grow both physically and mentally. In addition to all of the health benefits from a yoga practice, I have met so many amazing and inspiring people. We have such a wonderful, loving yoga family at our studios and I am extremely thankful and happy that I get to wake up every day and be a part of this community.
