I tried yoga for the first time in college but couldn’t get into it- I was more into cardio and weights because that is all I ever knew with playing lacrosse and field hockey. It wasn’t until I had my son that I surrendered to this amazing practice. I was seeking something different that would help me get into shape and after my first Vinyasa class I was hooked. It took a few years for me to allow my body to gain the spiritual and mental benefits of yoga. Once I saw this amazing change happen internally, I enrolled in my first teacher training and I haven’t looked back. I practice yoga every day as well as Reiki energy healing. My classes generally focus on the whole body and I encourage a laid back fun atmosphere.
